to the working group on the creation of a common economic space from Vladivostok to Lisbon – and from Lisbon to Vladivostok!

In November 2015, a working group was formed in Berlin that started to work on a concrete concept for a common economic space from Vladivostok to Lisbon.
The working group is based on three main partner-associations: the German Eastern Business Association, the German-Russian Forum and the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce.
The working group so far comprises participants from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and other countries. Its aim is to have members from all countries between the Atlantic and the Pacific. The group is working on concepts how the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) could cooperate, considering also all countries in between. It asks the Commissions of the two unions to initiate talks on such cooperation.
